Is the jestr tune bascially the same service dynoflash is offering through eflash? Do you guys know how much performance gain is achieved through a jestr email flash for a stock evo 8?

The stock maps all look like the floor of a nice swimming pool, not one that would kill me. Why not make it smooooth?
I hear you. It is not even a tune of ours. It is a random map I found on my computer that I grabbed as ART. I will probably change it to represent a stock map. Thanks for pointing that out. Other tuners maps I pay little attention to as 9/10 times, start fresh with a stock map again, especially when I see 8* of timing plastered on a previously flashed map.

Why not drive up for the AMS Flashathon this weekend? Great way to break in your car, reasonable prices on the flashes and you'll get to meet a bunch of cool ppl.

They use ECUflash or Techtom. Either way you will be able to read the ECU with ECUflash afterwards.

Yeah, I know, but it requires a little bit more skill ... and why pay for an ECUtek license if you don't have to.

ok,

i've read all the posts, but still im lost. i was looking at the WORKS P2R flash or the Vishnu flash, and if i plan on doing at most TBE which ECU reflash is the most reliable, least complicated, and basically would provide me with something i wouldn;t have to worry about or have to worry about something drivetrain related braking?

i want to put as little money in the car now, simply because im waiting for the X - and saving, therefore, im looking to boost performance without creating any other problem down the road. keep in mind, that WORKS advertises to be able to control boost by a simple reflash without a MBC or any other related bolt on parts. while Vishnu uses a reflashed ecu and a passive boosts solenoid emulator- but which is better? what is the emulated on the Vishnu kit for? why doesn't the WORKS kit come with an emulator?

i hope someone can clear this up for me.

john
