Any of you guys using a usb to serial adapter on your laptop. The reason I ask is because I have a newer laptop and no serial port

 

I am.. every once in a while it picks up my zt2 as a mouse and the cursor goes crazy.. I don't think it's the adapter causing the prob tho.

Well I have one just wanted to make sure it works lol. Still waiting on Horsepowerfreaks to send my o2 sensor harness. Ordered it on the 11th but for some reason it wont get here til 19th. I ordered brake pads from same state on same day and they got here in 2 days lol.

 

I am using one as well. No problems.

 

Most newer laptops don't have the serial port. My serial to USB works great. I just need evoscan to work with my Innovate WB (LC-1)

Tell me about it, I was super pumped about LC-1 data logging.

 

As far as he says the lm1 works fine. Did you guys try diff com ports and diff baud rates.
