On road Dyno graphing? with .97?

I just downloaded the .97 version of Evoscan, i havent taken the lap top in the car yet, i looked through it and saw all the new things like calculating load. BUT

Where or how do you get to the On Road Dyno Graphing, am i missing something?

They have that setup with datalog lab, but malibu did not make a text file to update for this new one so only some parameters will work. You can do it with .9 but you need to put in correct values to get decent readings.

You can also import the data in to pyxede and see dyno plots from RPM.

Go to http://www.aktivematrix.com/ and Register.

You can download the Log Analyzer from there.. Go to Downloads then DataLoggers and Dashboard Apps. Get Evoscan Log Analyzer 2.1.

Which can, in turn, convert your EvoScan log files to be compatible with DataLogLab. This is the software that is in that DynoGraph screenshot.

It is only a road dyno and isn't very accurate.. but use it at will.

www.dataloglab.com (free 30 day trial, or pay to keep it forever)

Great software, I use it to graph my logs.

The big problem with Evoscan (at the time) was that its sample rate might have been inconsistent in sample speed. So he used a timestamp to "Fix" it by giving you a time reference. Only it was incompatible with analysis tools since most expect a fixed sample rate, or a specifically formatted timestamp. So the log analyzer tool (aktivematrix) converts the files so they are correctly "Fixed up"

I don't know what the output of .97 looks like (i haven't used it since I am working on my own) but it may also have those improper timestamps and may have problems too.

I do know that the author is planning on adding a dyno graph function, or he was when I had spoken to him a long time ago.

If Log Analyzer 2.1 doesnt work with the newer versions of Evoscan, I won't be releasing new versions, so you have to report these issues to Evo4Mad so he can resolve them natively in his code. Or you can wait for a newer beta of Mitsubishilogger which does not have all the gages and toys that I felt werent needed in a logging tool. That program's output will natively work with Data Log Lab..
