Load with GT-3076

Hi all,

I have a IX MR that i am getting ready to install a turbo kit on. I have an AMS 3076 kit sitting here and am chomping at the bit to install it. However, i'm concerned about a lack of ecu support for the IX (and mivec)..

EcuFlash is quite interesting to me, but load becomes an issue. Since it will be using the stock MAF, i wanted to find out what people were seeing for load #s on turbo setups??

Any ideas?? I don't want to install this thing if i'm drastically over-running the maf. And since i do a decent amount of road racing, i need to make sure i have a safe tune..

Um, yes, I'm talkiong about real ecu support - not a hack (Utec, Xede). AEM doesn't have ems, motec is uber expensive, and Autronic hasn't released it yet. So, aside from goign full stand-alone, there's not much support for the IX. An VIII has just about whatever you want.

you really need to search more, there just as much support with ECUFlash for the IX as for the VIII.

You will have no probelms running that 3076 on the stock MAF/ECU. Lots of people including myself are running MUCH bigger turbos with great success.

Wow.. I never said that ecuflash wouldn't work. In fact, that's why i posted this question in this forum and asked about it and load and not "What ecu tool should i use"..

As for lots of people running bigger turbos, lots of people also have different maf settings and almost none have them on an IX. So, that's the reason for my questions..

nobody is adjusting MAF settings, I don't know where your getting that information. You really need to search, as I said above, all your questions will be answered.

Basically as long as you have the correct data logging equipment you can tune the crap out of that turbo on a IX and make a ton of powr. Or pay a professional for the same result.

members have over 500WHP on the stock maf using a reflash so you should be fine with the gt3076 even with meth or with a race gas tune.
