03 evo ecu -> 03 eclipse

I thought i would post up my experience with ecuflash so you guys can see. I was bored this weekend and decided to install an evo ecu in my eclipse. I was hitting boost cut in 3rd gear at 3000 rpms that was before I flashed it. The map resolution is alot broader than the eclipses and I was also wondering why the stock evo maps are not very aggressive timing wise. Currently I'm building a dohc 2.4 engine to replace this sohc. It's in the 300whp neighborhood now.

Interesting. What all was involved in using the Evo ECU, just Plug N Play or rewire? I notice alot of timing at peak torque, must be light boost?

The ecu itself is a direct plug and play I only have to get the wastegate solenoid and fpr to make it pass emmissions. I even have cruise control heh. I'm running about 15 psi on this stock engine.

A little creativity, a tranny/transfer case, and rear are possible..
