Going to JDM land

I will be going to Japan for about 2 weeks the end of the month. What JDM parts do we need to try out with Ecuflash?

I know the JDM MAP sensor is one part are there any others?

I am not sure how much time I will get off in Japan or if I will even be able to find these parts, but I will try. Sopost up the parts.

I definitely need the JDM Map sensor if you can grab one for me.. Offhand almost everything else is the same between the US and Japanese spec cars.

Can someone tell us what's the deal with the JDM MAP sensor? I only ever had a JDM car, so is there something wrong with the USDM one?

The US cars have an MDP sensor, Its still a MAP sensor, but doesnt read over roughly 1 bar absolute (Sea level plus a few thousand feet) The Japanese sensor is 3bar and can read boost pressure. (As far as I have been told) and its a direct swap to the american car and should require little if any recalibration of the ECU to use.

Yep, the sensor works, but it has unintended side effects on most cars, which require us to figure out the calibration table for the sensor if we want to swap it.
