Out with the old, in with the new - Tuning session with TTP-E

This was my third go around having my car custom tuned. My first two tunes were with a tuner who shall remain anonymous. No question about it, both tunes yielded significant improvement in performance. However, it was the tuners customer service and attitude that was disappointing. Especially on my second tune when I drove 500 miles to have it done. After finalizing the tune, the tuner proceeded to take my car out on what I thought was a simulated "WRC" run in the local area. He claimed this was "the way to verify the tune." Not only did I think this was totally unnecessary, but extremely dangerous! I was always taught to respect another mans vehicle. Right then and there I decided to look else where for tuning services. IM extremely lucky to be living very close to two well established tuners, John of Jestr Tuning and Scott Davis of TTP-E. Both are very talented and have built quite a reputation in the Evo tuning community. I learned of Scott through his web site. He was offering installations on an assortment of mod and I was looking for someone to install my clutch. I contacted him and made an appointment for his services. My clutch installation was flawless, no problems, no issues, perfect work! I was so impressed with his service that I continued to seek Scott for additional work (installation of cam gears, and fixed a nasty boost leak), and several aftermarket parts. All works was performed professionally and in a timely manner. After some further mods, it was time to have Scott tune my car. Scott worked his magic and brought my car up to another level. His tune and the combination of certain parts really made my car feel strong. Scott was meticulous with his tune ensuring increased performance while maintaining a safe level of operation. Scott was very insightful, he answered all my questions and explained things thoroughly, a true professional. No doubt that his product is first rate, but it's his customer service that goes a long way! So anyone in the Central Florida area, or anywhere in general, give Scott of TTP-E a chance to work his magic on your car. You will not be disappointed!

Who's better, TTP or Jestr?

Good to hear that your tuner took the time to diagnose, locate, and fix your boost leak, but honestly, if someone is modifying their car then fixing boost leaks is something owner should learn to do. I would rather havethem spending more time tuning then repairing

What battery/kit is that?

A boost leak test and other installations were performed several days prior to Scott tuning my car. I definitely wouldn't want to bring a tuner a car that was not properly prepared or not running right, that would be a waste of time and money.

That's the Bushur Racing mini-battery kit
