What type of interface are we using to interface this software to the ECU? ROM or CAN???

ECUFlash uses the Tactrix Openport 1.3 cable for the mitsubishi..

The openport cable is similar to a basic protocol converter (JEFF or VAG-COM cable) but it has the added hardware to strobe one of the DLC lines to trigger the ECU Bootstrap mode.
