Continuity between high octane timing maps

I am currently running about 21 psi and I have been doing extensive logging in 3rd gear (I race at an 1/8 mile track). I ran a couple of logs today. A couple in 3rd gear 3000-8000 rpm range and one in fourth. There seems to be a discontinuity between the two so I was hoping that someone could explain.

I noticed that there is a considerable amount of knock activity in 4th gear. I am hoping that it is due to the spike in boost. From about 5200 RPMs on there is no knock activity whatsoever. This is pretty much still the stock tune with a few fields changed around the 220-240 load region from 4000-5000 rpms to weed out a bit of knock activity I picked up in 3rd yesterday.
