I have been trying to control boost to ~25 psi using stock BCS and ECU. Last night I setup a bleeder with a 1/16" hole and was getting too much boost, so I replaced it with a bleeder with a #59 hole. With the #59 hole I was getting great boost ~25/26 psi and the taper was very small.

Then I made a few changes, including putting MWDC maps #1 and #3 to 10% (I thought these were not used unless the car was in a error / limp mode). Well I went out again and did some runs and was only hitting ~21psi.

So the question is when are the MWDC maps 1 and 3 used ? I am going to put maps 1 - 3 back to the same and go back and test again. Your advice is appreciated (as always).

Update: With all three MWGDC set to 30 I am able to hit 25 peak psi and the taper is very small.....Now I am just sorting out the timing and fuel....

I still have no idea when Map 1 and 3 are used, but clearly they were affecting my runs last night.
