I double checked the timing, the car is indeed in the high octane ign. map. any insight on whats going on here?

Possible fuel pump issue.

If you can't get richer than 12:1 or so no matter what values you put in your fuel maps, it's possible that your fuel pump can't keep up and is reducing fuel pressure.

car has a 3" TBE and K&N Panel filter, running 19psi @ redline. I was hoping the stock pump could support that. I'll have a Walbro by the end of this week.
