evoscan "air temp"

Newb question, but what does the evoscan Airtemp measure exactly, is it the air temperature after the intercooler, entering the throttle body?

Is this a good measurement to determine the efficiency (or loss therof) of my intercooler?

Airtemp is measured at the MAF, pre-turbo and pre-intercooler.

No, you can't use it for determining intercooler efficiency.

Nope. You'll need to add thermocouples before and after the intercooler at the bare minimum and ideally use one to measure the ambient air temp. The sample rate of the stock sensor isn't that great.
