First tune observations

Using ECU, Tractrix, LC-1 and logworks2 for the first week of tuning I have some observations Id like to discuss. The cars completely stock and its an 03, just testing setup and playing with software for right now. This is a real learning experience and everything has gone great so far. Some things I noticed and id just like if some other testers can confirm.

Reading an image takes longer then flashing. (does it only update sections that are modified or rewrite the whole image?)

How accurate is %load adding in the airflow/rpm*852 formula to logworks

We leaned out the high octane so that afrs where consistent 10-11 in the upper load areas... a side effect was some strange boost behavior, boost would climb normal, then peak @ 20... sometimes hold for a sec then drop to 15 and start building again, this only happened after changing the fuel map and fuel map only. Whats causing this and how can it be corrected?

Car runs very smooth like normal and has full power at WOT, very minimal spurratic knock (1 or 2 around 2k and 6k - we will work on smoothing this out next week)

any recommendation or what to do next? testing/tunning wise
A TBE will be installed soon and still debating whether to do the ECU/boost control mod. (any opinions)

Thanks for reading, and sorry for all the randomness.. just really excited and impressed how wonderful this combination of software and cables comes together.

My guess is that the engine is now hitting a higher load, and it's going beyond the value in the 'boost desired engine load' map. So then it's reducing the boost to try to hit that desired engine load.

^Thats sounds about right.... I wouldnt increase anyting until you get a fuel pump or don't boost past 20psi.

what changes in ECUFlash would need to be changed to keep steady boost? even at 18ish (safe) lets say.

'boost desired engine load' and 'Boost Limit'
