Is this the right cable (tactrix cable)?

I'm still a noob to Evo tuning and I want to make sure I get the right cable so is this it? Is there another place I can purchase it?

Thanks!

Looks like the right cable, though I'd buy it directly from www.tactrix.com to help support openECU's development of ECUFlash.

Although it definitely appears to be a Tactrix cable for the Mitsubishi.

I ordered mine directly from tactrix as well and got it quick.. Now you can order them too from the guy that does EvoScan, and they are even a little cheaper:

What is the most painless WB to configure at this time?

I am considering:
ECUScan
ECUFlash
LC1

These (EvoScan) cables are not supported by EcuFlash because they don't help fund the project. I'm still figuring out a comprimise solution where they can be included.

Does ecu flash have a hasp or dongle type lock specific for/to open ECU?

I am not trying to cause trouble in so much as I am trying to learn. I bought a cable for OBD (generic obd2 Ford,gm etc...)from the OBD guy (supported him/them) For my wifes Audi I use the VAG-Com cable I bought directly from them. I beleive in support but I was wondering why on Evoscan's website they say their cable supports the ECU flash software with the additional jumper.

Maybe I really do not need to know??? If this is the case do not reply and I will simply not worry about it

TIA
