the fuel map, a question

Is the fuel map, odd as it is, I mean look at the wild jumps of numbers from one cell to the other, like a typical fuel map? By that I mean, seems strange for the numbers to be so different from cell to cell.
I've been making some changes to the map to make my logs do what I want and I end up with a more normal looking progression in the map. Granted it still looks quite extreme.
In my case I have been richening up the spoolup areas, and in trying to normalize my high load AFR, it too has become more normal looking.

As to whether or not I am loosing speed, I am thinking a spoolup in the twelves is better than in the fourteens for keeping the motor happy during peak boost.
I track my car as often as I can. Much of the track time is in low to moderate boost. That surprised me.

logging with LogWorks and ecu+, worked head, 660 injectors WR turbo, 262 hks, ebc. Waiting for MJ logger 1.6

In fact, I believe my modifications are barely a step up from stock as all the fueling has been pretty close, other than my personal wants. It certainly was very satisfying to drive on the original map. Although I guess it might have been altered in a flash several years ago before i went to an ems. The timing had been lasered a little higher than a prudent fellow would want in that flash.
