MitsuLogger question
What is the 2-byte response option on the MistuLogger. I've seen it talked about on the forum but I couldn't find anything that explained it's purpose.
On newer versions the two-byte response checkbox is no longer on there. It was intended to allow early ECU Mods to reply with a full word (2 bytes) instead of a single byte.
New versions of Mitsulogger control that through its RequestID.XML file so the two can be mixed.
This is different than the current "Two byte Load" which uses two requestID's reprogrammed to point to the low byte and high byte of the ECU's load data, then reassemble the value as Load.
I don't really include that particular 2 byte load as it uses two requests that I feel have useful data that we just don't know how to decode yet.
Newer experiments have a brand new way to view this data and we have decided to support the Ex protocol instead as Mitsulogger is being used as the primary tool for its development.
