actually if you only change the load/rpm cells mentioned earlier, you'd only be "idling" around like that. it would sound fine driving.

I removed the lower rpm/load ranges and added them to the higher ranges, so interpolation creates a BIT more idle variations, but nothing is noticed after off idle driving.

The idle after the car warms becomes very erratic. I almost wish I hadnt posted this thread now since #1 this ricey, and #2 apparently it only works for like 3 people.

Even some of the cams dont lope. S1's seem to actually like more in the neighborhood of 18* or so.

My GSC 280's had almost no lope at all at idle. Setting the timing to 16.2 took care of that.

Hmm, haven't noticed that. Most of the cars that have cams of 272 + that I've seen (mine included) are rather lobey at idle unless the tuner increased idle to around 1000rpm.

Well since by the some of the cams I mean either the TurboTrix cams, GSC's or Cossies only the Cossies are lopey out of the box.

as my car sits in the garage all winter, i wanted to try this just for ****s-n-giggles. however, i cant make this work, 20deg at idle doesn't change a thing.

just reporting my findings. i cant figure this out, as this much advance should absolutely change the idle tone.
