2.0bar boost - which Boost solenoids
I want to run 2.0 bar boost on my evogreen (fq model), Which solenoids would you recommend? Are there any that plug straight into the stock BCS?
Currently I have maxed out the twin BCS setup on the FQ car at 1.65 bar.
Help please?

How does the GM solenoid compare to the Perrin solenoid?
I have also removed the restrictors near the BCS.
Swapping out the stock BCS with the GM solenoid, will I retain the factory ECU boost control? Or do I need to adjust the error correction too?

Hopefully someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I can't really recall a thread where someone really nailed down the ECUFlash settings for a Perrin BCS.
The GM solenoid looks really promising, and I will be converting my car soon to the GM from a Hallman MBC.
I just don't recall people really nailing down the Perrin solenoid to the point I would want to pick one up.

Removing the #1 restrictor pill near the BCS will only give you a little more boost to play with on the factory system. To really get more boost and much more tuning resolution, you would keep the #1 pill by the BCS and replace the #2 pill by the turbo with one that has a smaller sized hole in it. #65 would work nicely for higher boost applications.
The GM solenoid is much easier to tune than the stock BCS however so I would recommend something like that if you are going to be running high boost. It retains all the factory boost maps and you tune it just like the factory system. You must reduce your WGDC when fitting the GM solenoid however. I would start at 20-30% across the board and fine tune from there. If you keep it at 100% WGDC like the factory you will overboost, alot.

FYI. I have not and haven't seen somebody use a GM solenoid on a UK/JDM 2 solenoid system yet so YMMV.

'I doubt that a different solenoid can effect your limit of boost pressure. In my experience the boost is limited by how strongly the WGA can pull on the flapper arm - which is independent of the solenoid position. '

Since you where asking about 30 psi, I assumed you where talking about 30 peak psi as the stock turbo or variants of will not hold 30psi at redline no matter what hardware you change on it. The FPgreen will not hold 30psi at redline either. The most I have had it hold is 25psi at 7,000rpm but that is using a stock 9 actuator and GM solenoid.
The car gets a little grumpy holding 25psi too so it could be it's just blowing hot air there. It's much happier holding 24psi at 7,000 rpm.
Where are you currently maxing out 1.65bar? Lower in the RPM range or at redline?

What I would do is put the solenoid side pill back in, and swap the turbo side pill with one with a smaller hole, #65 would work well for what you are trying to do. You will be able to run much more boost all over with less WGDC.
You will be able to hold more boost up top as well, espically with the HP actuator.
Do you have a photo or diagram showing how the UK twin solenoid system looks like?
What do the boost lines look like? How are teh twin solenoids hooked up via vac lines?

I have no diagram nor picture at the moment.
The twin BCS, the inlet feed and turbo/wastegate feed go into a y and are connected in parallel to the BCS. They are wired together, if that makes sense?
