Winter de-tune
I am looking at making a de-tuned map for winter driving and when I rallycross. I was wondering what I would have to do to basically disable the bcs system? Could I just zero out the wgdc table and this allow it to run solely off the wastegate actuator? Any other tips or suggestions appreciated.

Just run racegas durring your rallycross and the winter and enjoy. Your only enemy is knock.
When it's like 40F outside I typically see up to a 1.0 point leaner AFR than like 90F - that first cold day things get insane.

I was actually wanting to eliminate some of the power. Our rallycross course is pretty small and tight turns. When I ran last week I just overpowered the course. I can't even get out of first gear if that makes sense.
Any attempt at wot and the car was sideways. Granted I need better tires for that, but for the time being I would like to learn the driving part at a lower hp level and work my way up, if that makes sense.
As for winter, it just makes driving in the snow easier with slower boost response and less hp/tq. Atleast that is how I see it.
For the boost issue. This is the main reason I am going to ecu controlled boost, so that it will adjust for the temp change. My mbc was all over the place last winter and if got frustrating adjusting it all the time.

Got ya. That makes sense. I didn't think about snow driving seeing as I live in Alabama ... we don't EVER get snow in the South ...
Anyway, what I've found is that lowering the WGDC values will eventually set you at WG tension which is about 14 psi. But, I'd recommend leaving the lower WGDC values high to help with spool up for the rally course.
