Mind looking at a couple logs?

Ive been tinkering with my tune a little bit, and here is where Im at. This is 2 third gear pulls. Im only showing knock (2 cts) on the first. My afr needs some work, but this is right after disabling lean spool, and my first stab before logging afr. Im going to lean it out at spool up about .5, but Im concerned about the knock, even though it is a small amount in that same region.

I think I have a problem with my 2 byte logging. It is usually about 20 higher than the load calc in Mitsulogger and Evoscan. The timing numbers seem to match more closely with the load calc than the 2 byte, so Im hesitant in using it. The logs here are from Evoscan. What could be causing this? Ive gone back and checked to make sure I did the mod right. Could it be my elevation? (roughly 6000') Do I need to compensate for the elevation anyways? Or could it be my POS cone intake that is throwing off the airflow readings? (Ive never had the stock intake) If it is the intake, how do I know when I get the MAF scaled correctly, fuel trims?

Thx in advance

The tune looks pretty good from what I can see. As for the bit of knock, try changing your timing value at the 4k/240 cell to 3* instead of 4. Other than that, just lean out your AFR a bit (I personally like 11.3:1) and you're pretty much set for this 3rd gear WOT scenario unless you want to increase your boost.

As for your load, if you've installed the 2-byte mod properly, it IS the value that the ECU is using to decide what cell to use on your timing/fuel map. LoadCalc is nothing more than a guess at what the 2-byte is.

The thing is, at 4k 2 byte says Im at 260ish load. Whereas loadcalc says 240ish. And the loadcalc is more accurate as far as the numbers I am seeing in my maps. I should only be at 2-3* at 4k/260.

the timing map will lead or follow a bit from one cell to another. maybe because it is changing to fast for the software to catch up?

Thx for the replies. I know that when the load/rpm falls in between cells, it will interpolate. But it seems to consistently follow the load calc, rather than the 2 byte load. Also, from what Ive read 2byte load is usually lower than loadcalc. Mine is much higher. When you say software, you talking about my laptop or ECU?

thx again.

well, I was guessing that the software in the ecu is interpolating "late" or "early".

calc load can read high or low relative to 2byte depending on among other things the injector scale. Mitsulogger's injector scale can be adjusted, evoscan's is a little more difficult, so likely your's is misinterpreting if you have injectors.

Ive been slowly leaning out the 2500-3500 range, and it seems like it is harder due to the AccelEnrichment. Merely because when Im at this spot in the map is the same time that I mash the gas. From most of what Ive seen, people dont generally tune the Enrichment table, should I be? Its defintely getting smoother in the mid - high rpms. I will try to get a new log up tonight.
