I've learned a lot from evolutionm but haven't really contributed anything so i hope this proves useful.

I thought it would be fun and a good learning tool if people could post logs in a universal format that would make it easy to compare tunes. We could easily see what tuning approaches work best with various modifications. I've devised a spreadsheet totally based on mrfred's Excel spreadsheets (posted here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=276205 ) that should do the job.

All you have to do is download the Excel file here http://homepage.mac.com/johnny_fergu...shanalysis.xls. Then take a log of a 3rd gear run from around 2000rpm to the rev limiter at 100% TPS. Copy time in seconds, RPM, knock, timing, load, wideband reading and boost (if available) from your log and post it into the Excel file. Your data will produce various helpful graphs. Then post up on the forum for everyone to learn from and comment on.

I know people are going to say you can't compare runs on different roads, weather conditions etc. etc. but this isn't the point. It's not a competition to see who's got the most power. I really want to look at the bigger picture to see what tuning concepts seem to work and what do not.
