Vehicle Speed Sensor Readings

When I log vehicle speed with evoscan it rises in large steps rather than a smooth graph.

1. Is this common with our VSS?
2. Can the frames/sec be increased?

Also, when I run my Power & Torque graphs in evoscan, it never registers the rpm where I get peak power or torque in the left column (i.e. 321HP@0rpm, 319TQ@0rpm). How do I get it to read the rpm value??

It does not sample at the same rate as some of the other parameters. RPM do the same thing unless you did the RPM 2 Byte mod.

My RPM's don't do the same as speed, stock EVOScan settings.

I know in DLL if you have the log open, produce a power chart and go back to the log the speed will be smoothed out via interpolation. Not sure if it's the same in the new evoscan with powercharts as I do not use it for that.

Here are some charts after interpolation has been done:

My standard rpm readings are almost identical to my 2 byte mod readings in evoscan (speed evaluation formula is 1.2427424*x). RPM never stepped really. If I could get evoscan to interpolate between the points, that'd be cool. The evoscan never alters the speed curve no matter which charts I go through, in any order.

Does anyone know the BARE MINIMUM parameters you need to log to calculate the power & torque graphs?
