I have the same problem with ecuflash when i used my macbook pro.

my solution was to get my other windowns based laptop

im hoping that ecuflash will come out with an updated mac version that will adress all the bugs

Keep you sweet *** power book and use it for video editing and things it was built for (1 step processor I think) and go get a dirt cheep IBM style (Dell, HP, toshiba, IBM, etc.) laptop off ebay and use that for logging (IBM 2 step processors I think)
