Which program is required to run Mitsulogger, and the ECU unlocker. I was told Excel but it says unknown file type.

Mitsulogger and the ECU unlocker are both standalone programs. The logs are viewed in Excel, but the programs aren't connected otherwise. You simply install Mitsulogger and run it.

They are compressed archives.. you need to use winrar to extract the files and then you can run them.

This is documented on the download page.

Or OpenOffice, if you'd rather not pay the Microsoft tax.

I recommend checking out a program called Data Log Lab to look at the logs you collect, with the supplied mitsulogger.txt file (and possibly a few edits for new ecuID's if you add/alter them) it does a nice job of displaying your data in a way thats easier for me to quickly go through. www.dataloglab.com
