.xml file help
when i copy my rom from the ECU using Ecuflash i get the following:
Don’t know how to upload pics so here is the Rom Info below:
Make: Mitsubishi
Model: Lancer
Submodel: EVO 9
Transmission: Manual
Year: 2006
ECU ID: (blank)
CASE ID : (blank)
Internal ID: 89980000
Flash Methos: mitsukernelocp
Memory Model: SH7055
Checksum Module:
one weird thing I bought this car second hand and it is a JDM 2006 EVO IX, but the Rom info says its a USDM ECU, so I think this ecu was bought for the car by the previous owner or tuned for the previous owner somewhere in the USA.
I was told i need a xml file to read the rom...anyone know where i can find this?
Thanks Guys!

Post up a copy of your ROM and I'll see if I have an appropriate definition file for it...or make one. Don't forget to save a copy of your ROM in a safe place...burn it to a cd if you have to. If your car came with an immobilizer and you lose the original ROM you could under a lot of stress in the future if something goes wrong.
When you downloaded the ROM what did you inherit from?

Most everything in this definition file should work. Stay away from the VVT Map 2...it's not usable. Again...make sure and save a copy of your ROM in a safe place.Don't hesitate to contact me if you need any assistance, especially if you're not sure about something.
