Hi everyone. I want to save the master copy of my stock rom using EcuFlash. However, I'm currently throwing a CEL due to the cat delete, haven't had the chance to do the mechanical o2 fix yet. Anyway, is it safe to save this rom as the master copy so that if I decide to run the stock rom later on, the CEL will go off once the 02 fix is in place

 

yes, the cel condition doesn't save with the rom, its calculated when the rom's running.

what romid btw?

 

Thanks for the reply Tephra. I've read and learned alot from your posts. I have no clue what the romid is. I haven't touched anything yet. If its helps, I have an 03.

 

ok so your ROM will probably be 94170008 or 0014 or 0015.

I ask because my next version of mods (to be released very soon) will have MrFreds rear02 simulator built in, which will fix any exhaust related CEL's
