well i download 3 different ones extracted with winrar no problem but i keep getting this gay cannot innialize error any idea what else it could be???

what do you mean?? ive installed all the drivers for open port 1.3to my knowledge and this winXP sp2 is updated to the newest .net framework :/

 

its your computer. you have a driver issue. Try uninstalling all the drivers and reinstalling them. the computer doesnt always delete the drivers when you uninstall a program.

this problem is multiplied 10 fold with Vista. Be happy you have XP.

 

For me, it was a baud rate issue.
