changing roms

I have the old 2003 evo original rom # 9417008, I see that there have been some course corrections on it.

94170014 &
94170015

How do I implant the newer roms?

I actually did this just this week. Just copy all of your changes over to the base map (fuel, timing, idle, injector scaling and latency, boost cut, IMMOBILIZER, etc) and then write to the ECU. If you changed other tables you'll want to get those changes copied over as well.

I assume the changes are made in ecuflash, how do I get the new rom into my ecuflash flash/working screen

or do I make the changes in the romdata screen?

You have to download the stock map. Aktivematrix has a bunch of them available for download. You open that map in ecuflash and change all the necessary tables. DO NOT FORGET THE IMMOBILIZER. It's an easy one to forget as you never have to change it.

Don't forget to ensure you have a copy of the original rom in case you need to roll back to that.
