I reflashed my car several time with my older computer (winXP and ecuflash 1.31)
on my new computer I have vista and ecuflash (I tryed 1.29 - 1.34) and when I try to red the ROM a blank window opens and....nothing!!! With my new computer I can use evoscan no problem... I am confused I can't even read .HEX files on that cpu, but on the bottom right of ecuflash 1.3 mitsu port is recognized!
If someone can help or have any suggestions.
I tryed: instal-re instal all versions/unlocker.

 

i use that same version on my laptop with vista and i have no problems with it it works fine everytime. possible that your computer is the problem not the software

 

check the security thing with the file containing the xmls!
and see as a user wat r u able to do with the files! (ex: read only, or modify!)

security settings didn't change anything...Might be my computer, but I can't even open .hex file that I sent to my email from my old laptop (not a correct format?)...

 

Have you tried running it as Administrator? It's been a while since I've played with ECUFlash but I don't remember any problems with it before.

 

I have a similar problem. I've messed with the security settings and have downloaded and erased it three times. However I can open roms from my usb storage. I just cant read/write and it doesn't recognize the cable.
