Mitsulogger - cranking engine

I'm having a problem with my Evo starting after letting it sit 45 minutes and I need to find out if it's too rich to too lean? I think the latencies are off as my brother's latency and stock injectors on his Evo work perfectly on my Evo. Is it possible to have mitsulogger run a log while the engine is cranking over? I haven't been able to get it working correctly so far. If not, what would be the best way to do this. Purchase a zeitronix?

Most accessory power is cut during crank to give the starter as much juice as possible... I haven't tried logging during crank but I would assume it would not work.

If you have 780cc injectors, post your scaling & latency values. Also, your MAF may need to be scaled as well... in the winter, my car can't maintain a cold idle with the stock MAF scale table

Here are the injector latencies and scaling:

Scaling: 713

3.504
1.872
1.248
.960
.816
.624
.480

I've had a couple of tuners attempt to resolve the problem but they were unsuccessful. Here is what the killer is, I changed out my injectors with my brother's injectors in his stock Evo and used the stock latencies....NO STARTING PROBLEMS...LOL!!! So, I installed my injectors, changed my latencies, and the problem is there again. At this point I believe the problem to be with scaling or latency.

Was your scaling set to 713?

If your latencies or scaling is off then idle/cruise trims will show it.

there is a post by eric (page 5 or 6 of the injector scaling thread) that tells you what todo.

essentially let the car idle for 5-10 mins, check your idle trim, if its more than 5% out (either side of 0%) then fix it..

My fuel trims at idle are 3,3,0 so that rules out any idle problem.

I tried the latencies you provided and my AFR's were around 15.5 - 15.7 where as the original latencies I posted were 14.5 - 14.6 so I'm staying with the original scaling and latencies. Does anybody know what I should do next to attempt and solve this problem?

try "old school" testing. pull off a vacuum line, pcv would be best. use it as a vacuum leak to lean things out, if it starts your too rich. if it doesnt start, use a little starting fluid/throttle body cleaner and see if that helps, at which point it is too lean.
