LTFT Maf Scale
LTFT Maf Scale
I'm not sure whether I need to rescale my MAF. I don't have any intake mods other than a K&N dropin filter (272 HKS cams). EVOScan tells me that my LTFT low is 148% and my LTFT Mid is 107%. Am I correct in assuming that this means that my Ecu is enrichening 48% ?
If true, then 152 (@ 25hz) should be changed to 292?
152 + 140= 292
292*.48 = 140
140 +152 = 292
That seems really high.
Your opinions ....
Nate

No.
EvoScan uses the wrong formulas for fuel trims. Search this forum for the right formulas.
Secondly, if you just have a drop-in filter and stock intake pipe, then you don't need to scale your MAF. There can be other issues going on, such as boost/vacuum leaks, injectors issues, etc.

For future searches......
In Evoscan 2.1, the fornula is 0.78125*x.
(0.1961*x)-25 is the new formula (thanks TouringBubble).
