can i use the evoscan cable to reflash my ECu or do i need a tactrix cable???

depends which evoscan cable you bought. they have 2, one flashes the other only logs. one is $80 the other is $70

 

i havent bought one yet. should i just go with the tactrix ?? it does both right ?

 

well does the cable you got with your evoscan have two plugs.,....one should plug into the OBD II and the other should be attached and should be white in color which is the reflash portion of it and it plugs in to the left of the OBD II port

 

as of today, right now your best bet is the most recent evoscan cable with flashing.

That all will likely change very soon when the openport 2.0 cable is out from tactrix. Theres alot of answers to the advantages to either floating around right now.

 

i havent baught a cable yet. just wanted to know what would be better and if they both do the same thing cuz they dont look the same
