i think this thread section needs a sticky with ALL the evo 8 and evo 9 and evo X maps. so we have a place to come to to get stock maps. someone make it happen if it hasent already.
Here's a couple of conversions I just did, based off of XML I had handy for each:

If someone can send me a "golden" ROM, along with a known-good XML, I can generate these pretty easily; the metadata parser is significantly more strict than EcuFlash's, though, so errors that EcuFlash would just work around will require me to do a bit of hand-editing.
tephra, mrfred, etc: let me know if you'd find some value in this, and I can generate output for any versions you happen to have handy (since I suspect you guys have more "known good" original ROMs than most).
(Code for generating this is here if you're into Python; the direct svn repository is at svn://svn.logic.net/. Warning, it's ugly, anything in there directly related to map tracing doesn't work, and it's all subject to change without notice. I just know I'm going regret posting this; my poor webserver...)
