Ok, so all I want to do is swap out maps and I've tried to follow the instructions like ten times but it just tells me that i can't connect to vehicle interface...... How do I fix this? I trying to go to the drags in an hour so any help would be appreciated a lot!!!!!

 

you probably haven't got the correct xml definition for your rom.
did your laptop recognise the tactrix cable (openport 1.3) when you
plugged it in the usb port for the first time?

 

Not exactly sure as i plugged it in at the same time as i was installing my ecu flash.... is there anyway to make sure?

 

Ok so I don't think that it is recognizing the cable. When I plug it in and go to my computer nothing shows up. But if i put my flash drive in there it does show up. What do I need to do?

 

plug it in, go to control panel , add hardware
the pc will then scan and should find it and ask you if you'd like
it installed automically (recommeded)
click continue when a box pops up saying not xp verified

 

Ok, so the cable is recognized by my computer...... Is there something else? Could I be plugging in or turning on the key in the wrong order or something?

 

it should say in the bottom right hand corner "openport 1.3 mitsubishi" or some ****.

 

what ver. of ecuflash did you install?
Ive still been having problems ever since i tried installing ecuglash 1.35..

 

did you plug in both plugs to the car?

 

I went to add program and it said 1.3 blah blah is working properly but everytime I open ecu flash and turn the key on it says can not connect to vehicle interface.

lol well u kno i would just love to get this beauty to the track but it doesn't look like this is going to happen... all i was trying to do was switctch maps and i already drained my fuel tank and now it wont connect to my ecu..... and nobody knows what to do this sucks
