ecuflash 1.29 and 1.30 problem connecting

ecuflash 1.29 and newer problem connecting

[10:59:03.471] This vehicle interface does not support needed features.
[10:59:03.471] unable to connect to vehicle interface.

this is what keeps happening. i have the cable plugged in key in on position and then i open ecuflash. and it just keeps doin the same thing.

just to read the ecu do i need both pluggs connected? ie: obd port and the white one next to it? if so i dont have the connector for the white one is there any way around it or jump it?

no, you need the white jumper one to make the ecu enter diagnostic mode. also use only 1.29a, some tactrix cables dont work after 1.29a.

iirc a wire from pin100 at the ecu to white plug if its three plug ecu ,,check the ecu pinouts

Yes, just to read or write the ECU you must have the white DLC plug connected along with OBD-II

So the answer is both plugs must be connected (or at least diagnostic init pin needs to be if you don't have the DLC plug)
