evoscan dyno question

I currently went to las cruces were streetvision helped me up my boost and datalog my car. I think he used evoscan to do a 3rd gear dyno pull. I got a reading of 335 hp. forgot the amount of tq. but i was wondering how accurate this would be.

my current mods are intake, exhaust and mbc set at 18 (no taper ) and i have an 03 evo 8.

it's not accurate. I was using evo scan to measure the HP and Tq I was making. According to Evoscan(while I was on the dyno) made 345whp and 330wtq, the actual dyno was only 306whp and 298wtq on a Dynojet dyno.

its WHEEL hp. Its not accurate. DataLogLab is said to have a much more stable dyno simulator to work with. Just like a real dyno, its not the value that matters, its whether your mods/tuning are increasing the value, rather than lowering it. Evoscan is too sporatic to have consistent results IMO.

When you enter in your vehicle info into the power section in evoscan, add your body weight, weight of gas ans anything else you have in the car, into the "vehicle weight" box. The "People Contents Weight" box doesn't work so it never adds the correct 'total' weight. Also, the barometric and ambient air temps make a big difference so look online for your local readings.

There is a dyno correction factor...but it does NOTHING.
