iI have just get a full tank, and after few driving minutes it flashes knock cell three times in just 3 or 4 miles, it was almost empty and it is full of bad gas.

the cel is set at 4 counts and it almost never knocs, so what is the best thing??


no boost at all for these tank.

just get the gas off the tank.

 

What octane? How old is the gas that was in there (if it has happened to be sitting for awhile)?

I would throw 2-3 gallons of race gas in and it should be fine for the rest of the tank so you can enjoy the car...call that option 2 on your list.

 

The gas is suposed to be 92 and came from the pump, just after a perfect normal tank.

i guess is pemex fault

 

isn't it like 100+ degrees in Mexico? perhaps this could be to blame

 

i am in mexico city and its no so bad, it is high over sae level at 2,200 meters.

But the thing is after over one year of use in here and 15,000 km. on my evo and at least a few months on these las flash it kcnoks just after my last fuel tank.

i just will be nice on it for a few miles and throw some race gas.
