So now that I've finally moved into my new house and I have more time to dick around with my car (and a garage, yay!), I'm having a problem with EcuFlash.

With 1.35 (the current version), EcuFlash hangs completely when I try to read from my ECU. Click read from ECU, select 2006 Evo9, click the read button. The proram hangs at this point, the selection box doesn't disappear and the only way out is to kill the process.

I thought maybe it was a problem with the drivers or my install of EcuFlash, so I un-installed and re-installed. Same deal. I then tried 1.34 to see if my laptop just didn't like 1.35. 1.34 poses a different problem. When I click "Read", it correctly closes the selection box, but gives me the "Vehicle not ready" response (I think that's the wording, don't have the exact log message).

This made me wonder if there was a problem with my Tactrix cable, maybe it was damaged in the move or something. However, EvoScan 2.5 works fine, and I can correctly log the car.

I'm assuming this is a somewhat common problem with a simple solution (or at least hoping), but I didn't find anything with the forum search (which doesn't necessarily mean the answer isn't there, heh).

So, any help?
