Car 1 assuming its tuned. Whoever tuned them switched the ID to "hide/protect" there maps.

Car 2 does it give you an option to define map from xx?

Yes for car 2

With all respect from a fellow tuners. I'm not really trying to get their maps. I just have one question. Can I just load a stock Evo9 ROM to the ecu to erase the tuned rom so I can start over? They're both EVO9 2006, one is regular and one is SE version. Thanks in advance.

Dont write over them unless you have the correct immobilizer for each car. you can get the immobilizer out then enter the code in the stock rom and start over
