I am going to get my car tuned in a few weeks. I had to replace my front o2 sensor with a universal bosch and wire it up. Will the tuner still be able to tune my car on this NON oem o2 sensor...

I saw a thread awhile back where a fellow evo owner went to get re tuned and the tuner was unable to because of the o2 sensor.

I do not have a wideband

 

You cant tune with the front o2 sensor regardless of what brand it is. It is just there for closed loop fueling.

 

Gotcha... well I didn't see how considering its a narrowband I just didn't know if it was a potential problem if the front o2 sensor was faulty/or not oem spec for flashing purposes
