throttle/ boost

is there a tps relationship with boost control in the ecu?

the reason I ask, my ebcs is allowing nearly full boost at mid forty throttle position.

I wonder if this is abnormal or not.

nope. the ECU will let the turbo produce max boost at any throttle.

my next patch addresses this somewhat..

What EBCS?

Most non-load based EBCS will allow this.

But error correction can bring it back in. Do you have full target load at 50% throttle?

Sorry I mean most "non-load" based EBCS's will allow this. Think of them as a fancy MBC.

Yeah, the whole full boost at half throttle thing has always annoyed the hell out of me. Its especially annoying and sometimes dangerous when trying to throttle carefully around corner with trees and guardrails a couple feet away.

been looking at the "Independent Electronic Boost Controller" which uses injector duty as a boost driver, but if your patch will do it I'll wait.

I hate asking because programmers are always so optimistic with their time frames* but when do you see the patch available?

look at op2 as an example.

very soon.

I am just finalizing the code bits now, and then I will do some testing.

So realistically - probably 1-2 weeks
