I updated from version 1.29 to version 1.34 and I cannot get my cable to connect to the car. I keep getting this message:

[10:40:01.359] Using interface OpenPort 1.3 Mitsubishi TX14qcEz7e8ff6c900000000000000000000000000000000
[10:40:01.359] interface close
[10:40:01.375] unable to connect to vehicle interface.

Can someone please help with this. I really need to upgrade.

ecufalsh had some problems with the serial number of older cables. maybe contacting tactrix support can help for this.

It seems you are correct, because when I used the universal cable that I purchased long after the Mitsu cable I had no problem connecting to the car. I was able to connect all the way to version 1.35.

I could not find any versions after 1.35 on the ECUflash website. When you click on the link to take DL the later versions you get a blank web page.

The only problem now is the annoying pop-up that I get from ECUflash telling me to update to version 1.39 or higher or I can get a failed flash.

Anyone know how I can disable this?

silver_evo wrote some "cable fixes" for ecuflash 1.37 and 1.38 and there are a couple of threads in this forum that he started regarding it. It's worked for me.

I had the same problem and I fixed it but i cant remember how. Let me do it again when I get home. I'll post it up.

I had version 1.34 and I could not get my tactrix cable to link up with my car. I ended up installing version 1.40 and that worked for me. I am a newb at this and dont know why that worked for me but it did. Maybe it was because I have the new 2.0 cable? Anyway moral of the story is, if all else fails try reinstalling Ecuflash. Someone on here should have a much better answer for you than me but I figured I would mention that to you. Good luck man!
