Hi,

I am editing my Rom XML file for a cold start enrichment table but I have run into a problem.

After editing the XML file in ecuflash, it is telling me "cannot create the xxxxx file, make sure that the path and file name are correct"

I believe this may be a problem with my PC and not with ecuflash. Can anyone help?

Again this is Vista and Ecuflash 1.40

Can you save it to another location? ("save as..") i.e. Desktop

 

save it to the desktop. Then open the folder with the original xmls and copy and replace the original file (back this up somewhere)

Alternatively you can run notepad as an administrator and you should be able to save directly to this folder.
