Open Loop > Matt55

I Cant get my to car to do any thing higher than 14.6 A/F in openloop .
In closed loop it runs 14.5-15.0 A/F
Here is a map I tried last night and still got 14.2-14.6 from -20" up to -2'' vac

Ive messed around with the "Open loop throttle Lo and Hi" and it dosnt really change anything at all .

With the "Open loop load" # I can tell when it goes from Open loop to closed loop (45 load = -10" , 10 load = -20" -/+) but no matter the number i put itn the map it still run 14- 14.6 , but no higher .

Any Ideas what Iam doing wrong ?

Maybe some other ocnditions are keeping it in closed loop. Increase the min coolant temp for closed loop to a value higher than your max coolant temps and see if it runs open loop then. I have done this before and it runs open loop.

Here is a log of "open loop load set" at 45 and something like 15.9 A/F's in da map

When its in "closed loop" the A/F oscillate from 14.2 up to 15.1 .

i believe there is a mod wherein you can modify you closed loop afr. that would be much easier that what you are trying to do.

Yeah Matt.... It seems like you are trying to "trick" the ECU but have a wideband installed. If you have an analog out on the wb MRFred's fuel control mod might be for you.
