In most cases a wideband is not required.

When selecting a tuner for your $30,000.00 vehicle, be sure to use one with a proven track record of positive feedback ratings of satisfied customers.

In our case our 560+ ratings can be reviewed here:

You live in Brunei which only God knows where that is. I have never even heard of that place. Don't know if it that is a city or a country? You also drive some kind of Euro/JDM SST car and you expect TTP to have a reflash map available for every modification and every ROM available for GSR, MR and Ralliart in every country ready to email? Luckily I can drive over there and get custom tuned in person, but you cannot expect instantaneous service for unique rom files 10,000 miles away.

Chances are that your ROM is not even defined yet, so if I was you I would work on getting your ROM defined so that you can send the definition to the tuner you choose so they can do their job as most tuners are busy people.

I don't know how we got to the point where we live in a world of such "entitlement".

I would think customers are entitled to know if they can be helped or not. It takes 5 seconds for a yes or no answer. Brunei is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, the Sultan was the richest man in the world for quite awhile.

TTP is also not allowed to be vendor on this site currently, so advertising for them is actually against the rules. When they pay vendor fees its back to business as usual. That being said the X SST isnt hard Ethan, it depends on the year. Not all of the ROMs are currently supported, the 2010 is to some degree but there are still significant pieces of the puzzle missing.

For the record i didn't post this without having prior research and expectation for TTP to have ALL reflash map. I did ask them and they said they will help me find them. But that was back in February this year. I've been asking for status and around march they have been very good as to replying to my query about status. But since march 6th. no reply at all and now its May and i was more than patient about it.

During those time i have also at the same time been working with other people to work on the map for my car and it took us some time but finally was able to read my car's map. Thus the reason why i'm trying to contact TTP is to ask for status and if they found the map since it's been so long ago. If they haven't found it yet i was going to give it to them.

But its been a long waiting game and no status update. I don't want this same service when i finally decide to get a tune from TTP. How would you feel if you waited months to get a tune?? This was just an enquiry and that took ages. At least tell me yes or no. It only takes 5 mins to reply and email or the very least give me a time line as to how long. Now is that too much to ask?

John, you know your geography buddy !! And yes! i agree, only takes a few seconds to reply email. I actually found the map from the help of the people at openecu forum. Took us a week to defined the map for my car. My car is the 2008 model direct import from japan. Thus the GSR SST model.

That being said i need to find a tuner that can tune boost via the stock ecu instead of having an independent boost controller. Thus TTP came to mind. I checked 4WS site but the site info said only up to Evo 9. I've contacted mellon tuning they were straight with me from the get go, that they haven't done tuning for my car's particular map but are willing to help if one day the map is available. But then Mellon tune boost via independent boost controller.

The nick doesn't necessary tells a person name. Yes, JohnBradley doesnt goes by the name John... No.. his name really isnt John He is known as Aaron if you really need to know.

If I remember correctly, the gas stations in Brunei only has RON95 (or OCT 91) gases? Btw, have you got your wideband installed? I am also suggesting that you get an independent boost controller.

I know the nick doesn't necessarliy mean the name. It's all good. He knows/ understands what i'm referring to.

It's RON97 = Oct 92 i believe. I have a zeitronix zt2 ordered from maperformance. They are good people. I want to go grimspeed solenoid instead of independent boost controller.
