Question JDM MAP sensor and altitude

I'm going to be bringing my Evo out to CO for the summer and will need to re-tune for higher altitude (~9000ft as opposed to sea level) and lower octane (91). I haven't installed my JDM MAP sensor yet, but when I do, I know that I'll need to adjust certain values so my boost logs will be accurate. Now I know that these values are only changed in the EvoScan files so I assume that I don't need to make any changes to my actual ROM to compensate for the higher altitude and JDM MAP sensor...correct? Just want to avoid anything funky happening on my long drive out there

If you are using direct boost control you will need to change your boost adder in your rom also (or simply expect higher pressures above what it is set to) since the system is based off of absolute pressure.

You can simply log with the car on but not running to see the difference and/or static absolute pressure.
