Best ECUflash version

Hey everyone I am on version 1.29 for its reliability.
I am also using a old tactrix cable.
What version should I step up to? I am tired of switching ROM XML files and modding them everytime a friend wants something fixed or checked on their cars.
Thank you for any help!

the latest version from openecu.org works just fine for me. I'm using the old cable as well.

The later versions also give you access to the ECU Periphery tables, B.

You can't utilize them on older versions if I remember rightly.

v1.40 is working really well for me. Does v1.41 add any extra features for us non-X guys?

I found that if you have the Limitless cable (v1.3U is what I have) that it refuses to work with anything newer than v1.34, but that version works rock solid for me.

I have a second laptop I use with the OP2.0 cable and with it ecuflash v1.41 works without any issues at all.

Works fine if you set it up properly. Search around, plenty of threads pertaining to the matter.

ECUFlash just reflashes the stock ECU with adjusments. The stock learning parameters are not disabled so it really comes down to your tuner giving you a good tune.

The most recent version. Always.

My 1.3 cables from both tactrix and evoscan both work great.
