Trying to determine software for gauges...
I'm having a hard time figuring out what exactly to search for to find my answer...
I have an Evo X MR, but someone told me to post here. I have picked up the Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 Cable for logging. I also have a Windows CE device to capture the logs. What I want to know is if it's possible to monitor Boost, Wideband A/F, & Tranny Temps with software, on Windows CE device, instead of installing gauges.
I realize I'll need to get a Wideband Sensor and Bung in order to get Wideband capabilities, I'll also need to figure out a way to monitor the tranny temps, unsure on that part. What I don't know is if there are any cables and such that I can connect to my Windows CE device and software I can run to allow me to monitor through software.
Ideally I would like to NOT have to install gauges. I just want to make sure I've covered my bases before I start buying them.
Sorry, for bothering to ask I'm sure it's in here somewhere.. I just suck at finding it.
Edit: My friend found this cable that has all the O2 stuff including the controller. If I can find software that will read it, and my Windows CE device has the hookup for this cable I'll be in business for one of them...

Doesn't look like you'll save any money going the software route.
AEM Transmission Temp Gauge 100-300F - $150
AEM Wideband UEGO Air Fuel Ratio Gauge - $225
AEM Boost Gauge 50 psi - $200
A-Pillar Gauge Pod - $200
~750
vs.
~$600 (in a less ideal location)
