sputtering car, log inside.

im helping out a friend with some issues. it is an evo 8 that is having serious driveability issues. the car sputters all over the place and is barely driveable. according to him, he has changed plugs, fuel pump, regulator, maf and nothing. it is an evo 8 with basic bolt ons, with stock injectors. i suspect something with the injectors or the front 02, the car goes dead lean when it sputters. here is a log of second gear when it acts up, what do you guys think.

he was on a stock 94170008 rom when i started on the car, it was a bone stock map, i flashed in a base map 94170015, still acting up, i looked over the engine bay and checked the common vac lines, they were all where they should be.

and yes, if you push it through the sputtering it will go into boost, but not very smooth.
