2.3 hks 272 stock everything else.

I'm trying to tune and not having good luck. I'm running 12 psi and shifting at 5 k or so. (still doing break in) and i'm getting spool up knock. I think I'm up in a part of the map that's pretty poorly developed from the factory. Here's a log. I'm not happy with it. I've done some things to try and make it better but my changes do not bring out consistent results.

I was wondering if you guys could take a look. It's a long log with a lot of different conditions in it.

I'm trying to get up to speed again on all this. If i have the newest version of ECU Flash how much if any patching is built in?

I feel i need to do:
2 byte load
Figure out how to increase max load values (for once i turn the boost up)
Figure out the "three timing maps" thing
Build the AEM -> USB -> Evoscan cable. (leaving to do that now)

Pull some timing in the spool up areas. At high loads near 3000-3500 RPM you aren't going to be able to run much more than 0-1 degree of timing on 93 octane.

yes you should log it first. i also noticed you have a 2.3 which is sometimes a bit noisier so you might be getting false knock as well. as for the 3 timing maps most people here set all those 3 high octane timing maps the same. as for the patch you would have to get the tephra mod if you want the most common patches like the the cel on knock, etc.

Who knew changing load values was so easy... The "tricky" part of keeping the columns in synch with the axes was so obvious I assumed there was some other trick i needed to know to make it work.

I'm logging wide band which wasn't too bad to set up

I'm about to go out for lunch and see if i can get 2 byte load working. The MUT thing is so cryptic until someone said "it's a lookup table for addresses of important things you want to log"

Those getting started vids REALLY are informative.
